Review of Master’s Level Programmes: Learning Consultant
The university client wanted to improve three distance learning programmes. Architela was engaged to conduct a large-scale review and produce improvement recommendations. We led team of sub-contractors, analysed programme content and delivery, conducted research to compare with similar university courses, presented findings to senior faculty members and produced detailed reports with recommendations. We successfully completed a comprehensive evaluation of programmes and highlighted multiple potential improvements that were all fully accepted by the client.
Online Programme Improvement: Programme Facilitation Reviewer
The client wanted to standardise the quality of an online national programme run regionally by different providers. Architela was engaged to evaluate the facilitation of 150+ online groups and drive programme improvements. We conducted quarterly Quality Assurance evaluations, identified areas of weakness, ran workshops for providers and lead facilitators, created standardised group templates and provided advice around best practice. We succeeded in significantly raising programme facilitation quality standards, improving the level of “good” and “excellent” online facilitation from 60% to 95%, with the majority of improvements in the first year.
Teacher Development Programme: E-Learning Consultant
The client launched an ambitious project to implement a teacher development programme for 30,000 teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Architela was contracted to provide strategic support during the initial e-learning development phase. We liaised between key stakeholders in the UK, Egypt and Saudi Arabia to define requirements, structure and design e-learning modules, re-purposed print content for online tutorials and created storyboards and assessment materials. We succeeded in developing multiple online learning tutorials and a range of high quality e-learning materials during that stage of the project.
